Welcome to Rascal Robot Army!

Here at Rascal Robot Army, I am always looking for new comrades to join the army! Home base is situated here in North Carolina! Currently I have 80+ recruits. And they are growing in size as we speak! Majority of the army are little Rascal Robots as you can tell by their round dome head and small little bodies, and the others are Acrobots and other Pocket Bots! Rascal Robots or the general term Pocket Bots, were produced by Tomy in the late 1970s. They made different dome colors anywhere from red, blue, purple and the body style were kept the same but had different colors such as gold, silver, and grey/white versions.
If you would like to sell a Rascal, I am always looking for them :) Please go to the contact page, and I will be happy to read what you have to say!

The Rascal Robots were also produced in a variety of different countries. USA, Taiwan, Japan, and China! Also the two years you will see are 1977 & 1978.
But how do you know where your Rascal Robot was manufactured?
Always look at the bottom of their feet! They will be stamped with the country of origin where they were manufactured.

"Wind these little rascals up and let 'em wander, they look like they came from way out yonder. Rascal Robots are the cutest little wind ups to come along this century. They toddle along with a great walking action, are easy to wind, have the famous Tomy wind-up mechanism, are long running and have a metalized finish that will take a lot of flights into space and a lot of falls to earth. These little rascals sure aren't commonplace, they look like they came from outer space. For young astronauts ages 3 and up."

Even though we focus on the Rascal's themselves, lets take a look at their relatives!

Pocket Bots

Acrobots

In general, pocket bots are basically the names of all these robots. But I like to think that this specific robot is named "Pocket Bot" as the Rascals are the cute little robots, and as for these ones below, I don't know if they had a specific name to them at all? So we will just go ahead and call these guys "Pocket Bots".

Acrobots are uniquely different then the rest! These little guys spin their arms in the air, and if they fall, they get right back up and do an acrobatic stunt to get back up! They came in colors such as gold, silver, grey and white! Their arms varied in color of blue, red, gray, and black!
